We can deliver the CIEH course Principles of Manual Handling at your own premises. This is a half day course, which up to 15 people are able to attend. This qualification introduces candidates to the hazards and risks involved in manual handling and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment. It will enable employees to develop safer manual handling techniques in the workplace.

The qualification covers the following topics:

The process of manual handling in the workplace

Manual handling injuries and the activities which cause them

Manual handling assessment and control options

Responsibilities imposed by the Manual Handling Operations Regulations

The total cost of delivering this course is £495 plus VAT (plus £6.80 per delegate for CIEH certification).

This 3-day course has been designed to help your staff acquire the techniques and knowledge of manual handling to train others within your organisation. This is an extremely cost effective way to make sure all of your staff are trained, particularly if you have lots of them or if you have a fast staff turnover and need to provide induction training. This is a long-term sustainable approach to manual handling within your organisation.
